Photograph of an antique automobile hosting the grand marshals being driven in the parade held for the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary in 1970. The grand marshals were Walter Schack and Mary Serafin. The view is on lower Main Street. The left side of the image shows the businesses lining Main Street including Wilshire Fashions and the South River Trust Company. The back of the photo has a note handwritten in blue ink that reads, "South River, 250 Anniversary Parade, 1970." Color photograph measures approximately 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and is in excellent condition.
