Studio portrait showing the descendants of Samuel Willett taken for the 200th anniversary of South River in 1920. Text on the bottom left corner of the photograph reads "Moore Photo 20". Printed text in the bottom right corner of the mat reads "Moore's Studio, South River, N.J.". This image was published in the 1920 anniversary program without the associated names. It was reprinted for South River's 250th anniversary in 1970 with eight surviving members of the group identified as follows. "Seated, left to right, Warren K. Booraem, Raymond D. Booraem Jr., and Curtis Daniel Selover Booraem, who was the youngest descendant in 1920. Seated on the far left is Mrs. Nancy Serviss Grote, now of East Brunswick, and on the far right, Mrs. Gladys Booraem Benn. The two boys with their hair combed straight back standing in the top row are George June on the left and Samuel Willett Booraem on the right. Mrs. Helen Booraem Deming of Helmetta is standing on the right." The image was also published in the 1995 Commemorative Book with members of the group identified as follows. Standing left to right: Pierson Booraem, Daniel June, Sarah T.M. Brown, Raymond D. Booraem Sr., Muriel Holmes, Bray Martin, Helen Booraem Deming, S. Willett Booraem, Daniel L. Martin, Charles M. Booraem. Seated: Nancy Serviss Grote, Caroline Willett Kleine, May Peterson Herrmann, Mary T. Brown, Ella Jane Peterson, Agnes Martin Arnheimer, Gladys Booraem Benn, Ermina Brown Kline. Seated on floor: Warren Klauser Booraem, Raymond D. Booraem Jr., and Daniel Curtis Selover Booraem. Photograph measures 7 1/2" X 9 1/2" on an embossed mat measuring 12" X 14". It is in excellent condition with very minor wear around the edges. Mat is in good condition with wear and minor scratches throughout and around edges. Bottom right corner has some water damage and back of mat has scratches, black smudges, and marks possibly from a scrapbook along the left edge. Handwritten text on the back of the mat reads 'Property of: Woodis M. Booraem, 208 Main Street, South River, N.J" in black ink. A round yellow sticker on the back upper left corner reads: "53".
