Photograph showing the Welcome arch for the 200th anniversary of South River. Framed within the arch is the decorated home of Asher W. Bissett located at the corner of Jackson Street and Whitehead Avenue. Handwritten text on the bottom edge of the cardboard reads: "200th Anniversary" in black ink.
Photograph measures 2 3/4" X 4 1/2" and is mounted on a piece of cardboard measuring 3 1/2" X 5 3/4" at its widest point. It is in excellent condition with no creases, tears, or stains. Cardboard backing is torn around cut edges. Handwritten text in blue ink on the back of the cardboard reads: "Date: 1920, Home of: Asher W. Bissett, Location: Jackson St. Turned (?) to face Whitehead Ave., Approx 1928, Property: Woodis + Warren Booraem."Photograph Details
