Black and white photograph showing two men in white smocks standing facing the camera next to two of four pictured chairs in a barber shop. Wall in front of the chairs is mirrored and products and storage are visible. Two signs fixed to the mirror in from of the chairs both have text reading: "J.V. Nicaise Recommends Wildroot with Oil For The Hair". A 1941 pinup calendar from Mac's Service Center, Main Street and Hillside Avenue, South River, is hanging on the back wall of the barber shop and fans, sink, and tables are visible in photograph.
Handwritten text on the back of the photograph reads: "Main St. Joe Nicaise Barber Shop" in blue ink.
A piece of tape is fixed to the back center of the cardstock with two stripes of wear from other tape on the back left corner. Light staining on the back right border of the cardstock .Front of photograph has four stripes of wear from pieces of tape, a slight crease across the left border, one missing corner and light wear on three remaining corners. Photograph is in excellent condition with wear around edges from tapeon right border and both left corners.
Measures 5" X 7" on a cardstock backing measuring 6 3/4" X 9".Photograph Details
