Photograph showing the procession of South River's 200th anniversary parade on Main Street near Bissett's Garage. The view is toward the river. Marchers in the forefront are likely members of South River's Fire Department in white trousers and blue coats. An automobile follows them and is in turn followed by a marching band. Spectators are visible on both sides of the street. Flags and bunting are suspended across the street.
Photograph measures 2 3/4" X 4 1/4" and is in excellent condition with no major creases, tears, or stains. Handwritten text in red ink on the back of the photograph reads: "Property: Mrs R.D. Booraem, Sr., 208 Main Street, S.R., Sept. 1920, 200th Anniversary." In between the red writing is a handwritten "88" in pencil. Along the back edges are bits of black paper residue and minor surface tearing from being taken out of a scrapbook.Photograph Details
