Photograph of the wreath laid in front of the World War I Memorial during the Veterans Day ceremony at the South River War Memorial Library in November 1970. The ribbon on the wreath reads "To our fallen heroes, 1720-1970." Former Mayor Walter W. Schack is visible in the background to the left of the monument. Mary Serafin is visible to the right. "Photography by Ken James - Industrial, Commercial, Portraiture, Insurance - Phone: 6502" is stamped on the back in blue ink. The number 6 is printed in blue ink in the lower right corner of the back of the photograph. This photograph is the sixth of seven in the set of images from Veterans Day. Black and white photograph measures 5" x 7" and is in fair condition with some water damage at the lower left corner of the image.
