Description

Photograph of the group who loaded the 1970 time capsule for the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary gathered around the time capsule when it was being loaded inside the First Charter National Bank. A handwritten note in blue ink on the back reads "We're loaded!! The time capsule, that is." An additional note in different ink identifies those pictured "From left to right: Paul A. Schack, Woodis Booraem, William Reichenbach, Amelia S. Applegate, Rev. Emil Varga, Anthony Zambrowski." A printed number appears along the right edge of the back: F 029671. Black and white photograph measures 3 3/8" x 4 1/4" and has some water damage. Photograph was the first in a group removed from a DuPont Cronar Polyester Photographic Film box. The box was damaged by water and was discarded.
