Description

Purple ribbon from Steering Committee for the celebration of South River's 250th Anniversary in 1970. Ribbon is purple with white text reading "250th Anniversary, South River, New Jersey 1720-1970". Button in the center of the rosette is white with a dark blue rim and dark blue text reading: "Steering Committee". Ribbon measures 2 1/2" X 7" at its widest point and is in excellent condition with no stains, fraying or tears. Pinback has three staples and a safety pin.
