Photograph of the South River High School Color Guard followed by the South River High School Band in the parade held for the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary in 1970.
The view is of lower Main Street looking toward the river with a large crowd gathered to watch the event. The left side of the image shows the businesses lining Main Street. Stores include Sherwin Williams Paints and Wallpaper, South River Appliance advertising GE Appliances, and Wilshire Fashions. The South River Trust Company building is visible in the distance.
Black and white photograph measures 5" x 7" and is in fair condition with the exception of the lower left corner, a portion of which is missing due to water damage.
