After receiving your letter of October 7, we talked to Mr. Anthony Zambrowski about the idea of a time capsule. As soon as you have the plans which you mentioned in your letter, please send them to us and we will give serious consideration to making the capsule.

The envelope is addressed to the address used in the letter, but "Borough Hall" has been crossed out and "c/o 208 Main St., So. River, NJ" has been added below in blue ink. The postmark is "Parlin, NJ, 08859, PM, Oct 13, 1970" and the 6 cent stamp shows Franklin D. Roosevelt in profile. The return address printed on the envelope flap matches the letterhead and is partially covered by a second postmark, "South River, N.J. 08882, Oct. 15 PM. 1970" and the legend "Pray for Peace."
The letter measures 8 1/2" x 11" and is in good condition. The blue ink in the signature is smeared from water damage and staining is evident in other areas of the paper. The envelope is standard business size.Acquisition
