Description

Brown felt pennant from the celebration of South River's 200th anniversary in 1920. The years 1720-1920 are printed along the left edge of the triangle and the words "200th. Anniversary South River, N.J." are printed in two lines along the length of the pennant. A decorative symbol fills the space at the narrow end of the triangle. A note written on the back of a bumper sticker that was wrapped around the pennant identifies it as "Pennant - 200th Anniversary; courtesy - Paul Schack." (See item number 2021.011.055) Pennant is in poor condition due to age and water damage.
