Description

Wooden sign used to mark the location of the "Jonathan Booraem Homestead, 1825. Site of Jonathan Booraem & Sons, Shipbuilders, descendants of Samuel Willett, founder." The legend at the bottom reads, "South River, NJ, 1720-1970" indicating that the sign was part of the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary. Measures 14" x 18". Plywood with painted red lettering, blue edges, and holes for mounting.
