Photograph of Nicholas and Violet Durovich, members of South River's Russian Balalaika Orchestra at the concert for the celebration of South River's 250th anniversary. The event was held in the held in the South River High School Auditorium on November 9, 1970.
A note handwritten on the back in blue ink reads "November 1970, Members of S.R. Russian Balalaika Orchestra, Imperial Band & Chorus - Concert - Nov. 9, 1970."
An additional note in pencil reads "Nicholas & Violet Durovich of S. River. Home News photo by Dave Lukowicz." The left edge has the remains of a sticker with mirror-imaged text reading " Moisten to line and apply on back of photo."
Black and white photograph measures 8" x 10" and is in good condition aside from damage to the bottom edge of the photograph where it was adhered to another photograph.Photograph Details
