Description

Shaped wooden key awarded to Eva C. Bissett when she was crowned Queen Riverie during the celebration for the 200th Anniversary of South River on September 24, 1920. Key is painted gold. Handwritten lettering in black marker on the key reads, "Key to the Boro Carried by Eva C. Bissett, "Miss Riveria" Sept. 24, 1920, 200th Anniversary of South River." Donor notes that the key hung in the bedroom of Eva Bissett until her death. Key measures 25-1/4" x 6" in length.
