Description
Handwritten letter from Martha A. Smith adhered to the front of a program from the event held for Bill Denny's 20th year at South River High School.
The upper right corner of the letter reads, "South River, NJ; November 10, 1970." A large portion of the letter is missing. What remains appears to begin "Dear Mrs. [Sera]fin" and to express appreciation for the work of the anniversary committee. The signature is legible.
The booklet to which the letter is adhered appears to be a program from the event held to celebrate Bill Denny's 20 years coaching at South River High School. The event was held on January 22, 1947.
Poor condition with extensive water damage.
