Southwest Seattle Historical Society

The Southwest Seattle Historical Society promotes the history of the Duwamish Peninsula through education, preservation and advocacy. SWSHS operates from Log House Museum, a City of Seattle Historic Landmark and is located one block from Alki Beach. The SWSHS's collections include over 10,000 artifacts, objects, oral histories, archives, and photographs.
