Name/Title

people at a pioneer picnic 1910.

Entry/Object ID

1914

Description

Black & white photo of people at a pioneer picnic 1910. The label says the location is believed to be at the Harmony School near Williams Lake. The school was used at one time as a township hall. A sign on the building reads The Two Old Parties. This does not look like any other photo of Harmony school or Glenwood school which is also near the lake. Could it be Lakeview school? or perhaps a grange hall near Williams or Calvert lake. The man with the violin on the right with hat appears to be Mr. Young. People who remember the Harmony school say this is definitely not Harmony school.
