Black & white portrait photo of Archie Cutting, circa 1931. While living at Moses Lake, Lulu Johnson met a well driller, Archie Cutting, and they were wed in 1912. Many of the wells he drilled are still in service after having been enlarged to accommodate electric pumps. The Cuttings had two children, Archie Jr. (deceased) and Marjorie, who lives in Spokane. There was more well drilling, and Archie later obtained employment at the flouring mill in Cheney where he was employed for 25 years until his retirement. He died in 1960.
