Produced by Lou Rosenblum and Mort Epstein in 1969 as a project of the Cleveland Council on Soviet Anti-Semitism with the support of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland. This film, with comments by Dr. Abraham J. Heschel and narration by Dorothy Silver, deals with historic and present day problems of Jews in the Soviet Union. Rabbi Heschel, regarded as one of the most significant thinkers of our time, was Professor of Ethics at the Jewish Theological Seminary of American and author of nearly two dozen books. Interwoven throughout the film along with Dr. Heschel's expert observations are scenes utilizing rare photographic and art material.Collection
