Photograph of a Southern Pacific locomotive, Roseville, California, 1927; Inscription front: "This is how the ill-fated locomotive that exploded at Bosque, Arizona appeared shortly after being placed in service on the Sacramento Division. Photograph was made at the Roseville, California roundhouse early in 1927. Notice location of bell and visor-less headlight. The huge crosshead guides were over 8 feet in length.
