This one time English Grammar book has been turned into a scapbook with a variety of new articles and at least two handwritten pieces. Many of the articles are from the Editor of the Housewife's Club. On page 44 a handwritten recipe for Excellent Fruit Cake has has been pasted in. On the final page of the book is a handwritten "Cure for the fiercy in horses, an indian cure". Another article is from the Eugene Register, 20 November 1902, entitled a sure cure for small pox.
