Inscription on reverse: "Herman calls this the Map of Ireland, partly submerged. This time I couldn't get my face straight. You can see all my freckles, mostly! This was taken near the schoolhouse on the Wishing-Bench. You can't see the bench, but it's a rustic affair built where they were logging a year ago. A fellow built it right above the Slough to sit on, while he waited for the next log to come. It is called the Wishing-Bench and thereby hangs a tale!"Collection
