Transcribed inscription on front: "This one and a half story structure was built as a residence in 1920. Concrete steps abut the street, a survival from the time this residence was 'Edwards Market'. In the mid 1920's this building was purchased from George Perkins and in 1926 became McMurray's store. McMurray sold the building to Edwards in 1938. Significant remodeling has been done to the one story wing, which served as the store, however restoration work was done in the late 1990s to return the wing to its 1920 appearance. In 1952 it was Edwards Market. in 1958 it was listed as Goods Market. = Source Eug.Spfld phone books for those yrs."Photograph Details
