Description

B&W Photo in a white frame of construction of Mill Street. These men have been excavating and starting to build Mill Street. The location is South C St. where the railroad now crosses what was at one time Mill St. The platform at right marks the present location of the railroad. At left can be seen the flour mill and just beyond it the water gate over the mill race which furnished water power to run the mill. Photo scanned-stored on HD2.
