Photograph of Safety Parade in downtown Springfield. Fire Department truck leads heading west down Main Street, with two girls walking with flags directly behind, and a large marching band behind them. McKenzie Theater is visible in upper right corner of the photo, dating this image to sometime after 1946. Other businesses visible include: the Pacific Power and Light headquarters (currently the home of the Springfield Museum), Western Auto Supply, Obak's, Pruitt's General Paints, Irish & Murphy, Gerlach Drug, Wright's Hardware, McKee's Bakery, an ice cream shop, and Adams' Feed & Seed Store. Photo is original, with "Safety Parade" added in white ink to the lower left corner. In good condition.Acquisition
