"Miss Liberty", identified as Winifred Harpole (Steeple) on a wagon that is decorated and pulled by two horses during the Springfield Parade; July 4th, 1917. She said that she held a globe and rode on the wagon from Springfield to Eugene, and it was hard to keep her balance.
