Photograph of Springfield Flour Mill built in 1854.
A label says: Another view of the 1854 Flour Mill on Mill Street. In back of it is the Willamette River. To the left would be the first lumber mill, the planing mill. After all these years I now realize why this first street was called "Mill Street". I never stopped to think of it before."
Original mounted on dark board. Written in ink on front "Donated by Nina McPherson".
