Inscription back: 'Springfield Depot, 101 Soutch A Street, The 1891 Southern Pacific Railway Depot was moved from its original site in 1990 and the exterior restored to original condition. It houses Springfield's visitor information center and Chamber of Commerce. A restored Railway Post Office car from the same era stands by the historic structure.
