Lejb (Leon) Erlich was one of the prisoners interned at Mauthausen concentration camp or subcamps. Erlich was also a prisoner at Auschwitz-Birkenau until the camp was liberated in 1945 by the Soviet Red Army. Erlich immigrated to the United States where he lived until his death in 1987. The post card reflects a trip Leon was on as a student at the University of Toronto in 1976. Along with is university peers, Leon visited Italy, Greece, Croatia, and Yugoslavia.Collection
