Tan waybill with printed text and outline in German using black ink. Cursive handwriting in German using black ink is present. At the top right corner, two stamps depicting Adolf Hitler appear. One, a blue 25-pfennig stamp, the other a dark green 50-pfennig stamp. Overtop, a cancellation dated June 24, 1944.

The boxed receipt marking of the Jewish self-government postal facility on the back of this German domestic parcel waybill piece, mailed June 24, 1944, differs slightly from the one on the back of the international return receipt (previous page). A September 16, 1943, acknowledgement form post card for a parcel received by a Theresienstadt ghetto inmate permitted no personal message, just a date and signature of the sender.Collection
