Residents of Theresienstadt were allowed to receive parcels every two months, provided the sender first obtained a parcel admission stamp and affixed it to the wrapper before posting. An April 15, 1945, notice to Prague resident Jindra Horácek to pick up a Concessionary stamp to mail a parcel to Feiwel Ornstein at Theresienstadt; the stamp must be picked up personally within 8 days at the office of the Jewish Elders Council. The unused stamp was not used, and is still attached to the document, perhaps because the form had been mailed just three weeks before Germany surrendered to the Allies.Collection
