To celebrate his rise to power, Adolf Hitler held a torchlight parade the night of his appointment, consisting of brown-shirted Nazi stormtroopers marching through the streets of Berlin. The artistic rendition of this event shows them passing through Berlin's Brandenburg gate. This post card in particular features a cancellation stamp with a Jan. 29th, 1934 date, the first day the post cards were in circulation.Collection
