1943 February 5, Reverse side - Envelope addressed to Tekla Krzyminski at Neuengamme concentration camp.
Green cover with printed elegant German in black ink to the left of the document. Cursive handwriting in blue ink is displayed overall. At the top right is a 12-pfennig red stamp of Adolf Hitler facing to the right. Underneath his depiction is German text "Deutsches Reich". Overtop is a cancellation stamp from Hamburg-Bergedorf, dated February 5th, 1943. At the center top is a faded Postzensurstelle/Postal censorship office stamp. It is signed in pencil.

Neuengamme, the large concentration camp near Hamburg, opened December 13, 1938, as a sub-camp of Sachsenhausen, and it became independent on June 4, 1940. It was liberated by British armed forces on April 29, 1945.
