In his left hand he is holding a whip used on enslaved persons. In his right hand he is holding gold coins. The man is depicted with a scraggly beard and large nose. The man's eyes are closed and he is wearing a large black overcoat. At the bottom of the illustration is printed text in red which reads "Der ewige Jude" in German or translated to English "The eternal Jew". Below is printed yellow text in German stating information of the exhibit at the Deutsche Museum in Munich. At the bottom left is a small signature in black ink.
