1944 March 11, envelope with lettersheet from Auschwitz printed notice about Easter parcels.

Context

Enclosed inside this March 11, 1944, prisoner's formular lettersheet was a printed notice to the recipient: Easter and Pentecost parcels for protective custody inmates have not been allowed. Inquiries about this to the commander's office of K.L. Auschwitz are useless. The Camp Commander. An unusual, seldom seen item that confirms the arbitrary cruelty of the Nazi system.
