1973 March 26, letter from the International Socialist Review in New York City, New York.

Context

Lejb (Leon) Erlich was one of the prisoners interned at Mauthausen concentration camp or subcamps. Erlich was also a prisoner at Auschwitz-Birkenau until the camp was liberated in 1945 by the Soviet Red Army. Erlich immigrated to the United States where he lived until his death in 1987. The International Socialist Review was an article source established c.1910s. In December 1970, the office relocated to the 14 Charles Lane, New York address which housed a publishing source for socialist journals. Leon's views strongly aligned with socialism.
