British Surgeon known as the “Father of antiseptic surgery.
The first antiseptic agent discovered and used for surgical, peurperal and sanitary antisepsis was Carbolic Acid (Phenol) in 1865.
Was Listerine discovered by Joseph Lister? NO!!
Listerine was discovered by Dr Joseph Lawrence Of Missouri, USA in 1876. He named it after Lister who pioneered surgical antisepsis.
