Description

Assembled collection of fifty-nine cookbooks and other guidebooks, which include, not only a history of recipes, manners, and household tips, but also a history of local families, churches, communities, schools, organizations, and more. The majority were created as fundraising opportunities for the various groups. Others are commercial publications or advertising media. Some local ethnic recipes are included. Some are illustrated or include photographs. Eight are personal collections of handwritten recipes. Collection consists of 5 boxes or 2 linear feet. Each box contains an index within.
