Book entitled: "Early History of the Town of Hopkinton" by C.E.Sanford.Inside front cover is inscribed: 'Compliments of C.E. Sanford Jany 1911." First page has a bookplate adhered which reads: "Ex Libris Alan Clark." The book contains a history of Hopkinton NY including Nicholville, diaries of Elisha Risdon and Artemas Kent, soldiers of the Civil War and a genealogical record of sixty or the pioneer families. Includes two maps and photographs. Several pages contain pencilled in marginalia. There are a couple of items inserted within. Cover is blue, cloth, hardbound with gold lettering. Spine is broken. 604 pages, indexed.
