Published May 1, 1916 with notations made by D. Jerome Fisher (1894-1988), professor of geology at University of Chicago (1920-1962) and President of the International Minerological Assn. (1964-68). He was born in Canton the son of Lewis B. Fisher, on the faculty at the Theological School at SLU. Jerome was also the brother of Lewy (?) Fisher, a long-time member of the Jordan Club (1926-82) and father of the donor, who was born in 1921 and a member of Jordan Club (1978-present).
