Blue hard covered book entitled: Statement and Engineering Report by the Hydro-Electric Power Commission of Ontario Submitted to the International Joint Commission Respecting the Proposal to Develop the St. Lawrence River, 1921. Book was published by the Hydro-Electric Power Commission of Ontario in Toronto in 1925. It includes a number of fold-out maps and diagrams for three "schemes" or plans for the power project. Inserted within are two newspaper clippings about the "Third Scheme," a small card stating that this book is a complimentary copy for/to Mr. F. R. Martin, and a piece of folded paper with a typewritten financial report entitled "St. Law. Deep Waterway, Controlled Single State Project, 238-242," dated January 3, 1941. Binding is cracked. At least one "plate" or drawing is separated from the book.Acquisition
