Avery 36-60 "Yellow Fever" grain separator owned by Charles M. Hammond. This separator serviced farmers in the St.Charles area within a 25 mile radius. Charles's son, Everett, operated the steam powered outfit at age 14; the engine generated 22 H.P. Leo Hammond is also in view; photo taken in 1908.Lexicon
