Description

Belonged to Joan Metzger's paternal grandfather, John Joseph Descourouez. John J. Descourouez was a member of the Belgium American Football Team, a St.Charles team (not affiliated with the High School). Many members of the football team were employees of Moline Malleable; blue-yellow-red stripe on sleeves (back); 1917-That year the Belgium American Team was undefeated. Sweater is worn in photograph by John Discourouez, located in the St.Charles Historical Museum.
