Description

Large brass bell which was originally used on the steamer ship Frank Pargoud on the Mississippi River and then later moved to the Crane Family/WIld ROse Farm on Crane Road. The bell was used to signal employees when it was lunch time and when the work daty was over. The bell has since been removed and ounted onto a cradle and will be placed in the courtyard of the St.Charles History Museum in the summer of 2007.
