Description

Original Charter for the S.S.S. Pottawatomie Group of Boy Scout Sea Scouts chartered December 31, 1932 the Leader was Louis Rockwell also on the Ship Committee was H.R. Wilkinson and Dr. E.P. Little; Alexander Brandell (donor) was the Mate. The Sea Scouts in St. Charles were responsible for charting the deep channel of the Fox River and to mark the increments of depth with weighted ropes.
