Description

Tubular metal ashtray stand with three legs supporting a metal disk that once held a glass ashtray. The top disk removes to reveal a flat tray underneath. Donor says that the stand was made by the Hough Company, which was located behind Hawley Mfg. Co. on 7th Avenue. The company was in business from the mid 1950s to the mid 1960s. They also contracted with several of the housewives in St. Charles who would weave basketball nets in their home for the company.
