Description

Noren, a Japanese cloth room divider, wall hanging, doorway curtain or a window curtain. The word noren usually refers to split curtains hung in front of a shop. It was used to keep out the sun and dust. However, Noren are commonly used in private homes as well. This one is 33.4" w x 59" long. It is made of cotton with the image of a geisha looking at herself in a mirror screenprinted on it in shades of beige, black, teal, and fushia.
