Description

Original etching printed in black ink with plate tone on laid paper with large margins. Signed and dated in the plate, lower right: "Rembrandt f. 1641." A strong impression of Usticke's third state of four. Bartsch's second and final state as issued in the Basan recueil between 1789 and 1808. In excellent condition with collector's blindstamp in margin, lower right "H7R9K", framed with conservation materials. Catalogue reference: Bartsch 98 ii/ii Usticke 98 iii/iv.
