102 River Flooding near Maysville, MO Color Snapshots (10), July, 1993 Ten snapshots taken by Guy Chestnut and Boyd Frazer. Photos are marked : Between Maysville & Stewartsville, and appear to be taken from automobile. (The nomenclature is puzzling as the 102 River does not flow in that area, nor does the Platte River into which the 102 empties. Castle Creek flows south around Stewartsville.) Taken July 12, 1993 in aftermath of the "Great Flood of 1993". In that flood the Platte River, which empties into the Missouri and its tributaries such as the 102 overflowed. Handwritten on back: "Between Maysville & Stewartsville. 102 Norma: narrow and 3 ft deep" Original digital scan located on History CD 02
