2023 Juneteenth Coleman Hawkins Park

The image captures a close-up of a circular sign positioned on a stand, prominently displaying the text "Galactic Express" in bold, stylized lettering at the center. The sign, which appears to be part of a stage setup, has a retro design with a red and black color scheme, invoking a vintage feel suitable for a music band or performance group. Beneath the main text, additional information reads "Soul / Funk / R&B 60's - 70's," indicating the musical genres and era the group might be associated with. The background of the photograph is out of focus, showing blurred details of a stage or outdoor setting, suggesting that the sign is placed in a live performance environment. Nearby, parts of equipment and instruments such as microphones and speakers are visible, further hinting at a musical context. The overall composition and the elements within the frame create an atmosphere of anticipation for a live musical experience, celebrating classic soul and funk rhythms.
